Philadelphia, PA – The 2011 Explorer Club Auction is set for September 17th beginning at 6:00 PM at Gola Arena.
The annual auction is the marquee fundraising event run by the Explorer Club with proceeds benefitting student-athletes of the 22 varsity sports teams at La Salle University.
The event is open to the public with free admission which includes top-shelf food and drink. Click here to RSVP to the event.
Over 150 items will be offered in the silent auction which begins at 6:00 PM (with select items being made available for remote bidding prior to September 17th) and a selection of premium items available during the live auction portion of the event.
This year's auction co-chairs, returning for their second year are Tom Leonard ('70) and Dr. Wade Brosius ('88). WNEP (Scranton/Wilkes-Barre) news anchor Scott Schaffer ('85) who was last year's master of ceremonies will return and share this year's duties with Dennis Owens ('84) who anchors WHTM news in Harrisburg, PA. Current coaches, athletic staff and University personnel will be present to join La Salle alumni and fans in bidding on auction items.
