PHILADELPHIA – Recent La Salle graduate
Tyreek Duren has signed a professional contract with AEK Larnaca in the Cyprus Basketball Association, it was announced today. AEK Larnaca won the CBA Championship in 2013 and finished second in 2014.

A second team All-Atlantic 10 selection, Duren was also named to the All-Big 5 team for the third straight season and landed on the first team for the second straight year. He is just the 14th Explorer to receive All-Big 5 three times in his career.
The Philadelphia product led the team in scoring (15.2 ppg.), assists (108), steals (51), three-point field goals (58), free throws (118), free throw percentage (.803) and minutes (36.2). He topped the Big 5 in steals and ranked fourth in assists and fifth in scoring.
Duren ranks 14th on La Salle's all-time scoring list with 1,729 points and is third in steals (227) and fourth in assists (500). He is one of three Big 5 guards with 1,500 career points, 500 assists and 200 steals. Duren also earned second team All-Atlantic 10 and All-NABC District 4 honors this season.
