PHILADELPHIA - A pair of La Salle men's basketball standouts and graduates are showcasing their talents to the Philadelphia 76ers.
Jerrell Wright will work out for the team tomorrow, May 28, while
Steve Zack had a workout on May 19.
Asked what he could bring to the Sixers, Wright told the Inquirer's Keith Pompey that ""Rebounding, defending the one through five positions and just being scrappy, diving on the floor for loose balls - Do all the things that they would need a player to do. I could actually be like a Reggie Evans for their team."
Wright averaged 12.1 ppg. and 6.5 rpg. last season for the Explorers to earn All-Big 5 recognition for the second straight year.
Zack started all 33 games at center for La Salle, averaging 8.6 ppg. and a team-high 9.2 rpg. He also blocked 58 shots.
