La Salle University Athletics

Diane Moyer was the first female athlete to be inducted into La Salle’s Hall of Athletes. A goalkeeper, Moyer lettered all four years in field hockey and also won four letters in softball and two each in basketball and diving.

She went on to be named to the 1980 and 1984 USA Olympic field hockey teams. The USA boycotted the 1980 Moscow games, but her 1984 squad won the Bronze medal in Los Angeles.
