La Salle University Athletics

A versatile guard, Doug Overton finished his La Salle career with 1,795 points (14.6 ppg average). Upon induction into the Hall of Athletes, Overton was the Explorers' all-time leader in assists (671) and steals (277). He was named to the All-Big 5 and All-MAAC teams during his sophomore, junior, and senior years.

Overton played in the NBA for 11 seasons for eight different teams.  After playing, he spent time as an assistant at Saint Joseph’s.
