Jill Davis is just the second women's lacrosse player to be inducted into the La Salle Hall of Athletes, joining Jami Wilus '02 who was enshrined in 2008. A four-year letterwinner, Davis was named 2007 Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Year after leading all rookies with 32 goals, 38 points, and 32 draw controls.
After suffering a season-ending injury as a sophomore, Davis bounced back with 28 goals, eight assists and 36 points for the Explorers in 2009. As a senior, she led La Salle to its first-ever appearance into the Atlantic 10 Championship and was named First Team All-Atlantic 10.
A 4.0 student who earned a bachelor's degree in elementary and special education, Davis was also named the 2010 Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association Scholar-Athlete of the Year, Atlantic 10 Women's Lacrosse Student-Athlete of the Year, and was a Second Team Academic All-American.
Davis currently stands among the all-time leaders in career goals (100), points (128) and assists (28), despite playing just three seasons with the Explorers.
