As a member of the La Salle University Cheerleading Team, you have the opportunity to be a part of the hard work, dedication, and excitement that is La Salle Athletics. Currently, La Salle has one cheerleading team to cover the responsibilities of men's and women's basketball, various University functions and special appearances.
Eligibility
All full time students (in good academic standing) are eligible for tryouts once cleared by the training office upon submission of physical forms.
Students must be cleared before attending tryouts
Second Tryouts
Dates: Wednesday, August 29 & Thursday, August 30, 2018 (Both Days Mandatory)
Time: Friday - 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.; Saturday - 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
Location: Tom Gola Arena (1900 W. Olney Avenue Philadelphia, PA 19141)
Registration Fee: $20 (Due on the first day of tryout)

What To Wear
Appearance should always be "game ready" throughout the tryout process. As a La Salle Cheerleader you are representing La Salle during games, televised events and appearances.

Is there a tumbling requirement to be on the Cheerleading Team?
No, tumbling will be judged in comparison of those trying out
Does La Salle University offer cheerleading scholarships?
No, La Salle University does not offer cheerleading scholarships; however, educational scholarships and financial aid are available to all eligible students.
How often does the Cheerleading Team practice?
The cheerleaders practice about 2-3 times per week, usually at night.
