Meghan McGlinchey has been named GoExplorers.com Student-Athlete of the Week for April 28. McGlinchey ran a 16:07.32 in the College Women’s 5000m Championship on Thursday evening at the Penn Relays, besting the outdoor school record she set a year ago at the ECAC Championships (16:15.52) by more than eight seconds. The senior placed second in the event, finishing just 11-hundredths of a second behind Cally Macumber of Kentucky (16:07.21). The time is the best mark in the A-10 this spring.
