B.J. Johnson from men's basketball is this week's GoExplorers.com Athlete of the Week after he scored a career-high 35 points, including 28 in the second half, to help La Salle defeat Florida Gulf Coast, 84-80, on December 17. The versatile wing went 10-for-16 from the field, including 3-of-6 from three-point range, and connected on 12 of his 14 free throw attempts to eclipse his previous career best of 24 points set earlier this season against Texas Southern.
