Philadelphia, PA - The La Salle Men's Soccer Team dropped it's third straight Atlantic 10 game to the Temple Owls 3-0 at Temple, today, Sunday, October 12th. La Salle falls to 3-6-3 on the season, 1-3 in the Atlantic 10, and 0-3-1 in the PHiladelphia Soccer Seven.
Temple senior midfielder Matt Moran exploded for two goals and assisted on a third in a span of 1:32 at the start of the second half to lead Temple over La Salle.
After a scoreless first half, Moran opened the scoring at the 47:55 mark as he finished a ball in front of the goal off a pass from freshman Ryan Heins. Less than a minute later, Moran took a long feed from sophomore Nick Ebersole and
drilled it past La Salle junior keeper Stash Graham (Tampa, FL/Jesuit) who recorded six saves in the game. Moran concluded the scoring on the afternoon by finding Ebersole in front of the goal for the Owls' third tally.
La Salle will travel to the University of Massachusetts this Friday, October 17th for a 3:30 p.m. match-up. The Explorers will continue action on the road as they face the University of Rhode Island, Sunday, October 19th at 1:00 p.m.
