Philadelphia, PA - La Salle University junior Sara Camilli (Langhorne, PA/Neshaminy) was named to the National Field Hockey Coaches Association MidAtlantic All-Region Second Team after posting a stellar junior campaign.

Camilli adds this honor to her long list of 2003 accomplishments. Named to both the Atlantic 10 All-Conference Team and the Atlantic 10 All-Academic Team, Camilli led the 2003 La Salle squad in both goals with 11 and points with 27, she was second in assists with five.

Camilli's 11 goals on the season ties her for sixth in goals in a single season at La Salle. Her 27 points on the year makes her second all-time at La Salle for points in a season and her five assists ties her for eighth in assists in a single season.

As a sophomore she started in 18 games and competed in all 19 for the Explorers. Finishing fourth on the team in points, she netted two goals on the season and added one assist. She was named to the City Six Team and garnered Atlantic 10 Commissioner's Honor Roll honors.

She was one of four Explorers to start in all 18 games during her rookie year. She recorded a defensive save in La Salle's win over Atlantic 10 opponent Richmond and also netted one goal on the season in La Salle's 3-2 win over Lehigh.
