Philadelphia, PA - The La Salle University Volleyball team lost to the Rhode Island Rams tonight, Friday, November 7, 2003. The Explorers played the Rams extremely tough, in three evenly matched games, but the Rams managed to come away with the win.

La Salle senior Robyn Wright (Salem, OH/Salem) accumulated 12 kills in the match on just 18 attempts, she finished with a kill percentage of 61.1% Junior Lauren Woods(Akron, OH/Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy) recorded eight kills on the night and seven blocks, six assisted.

Defensively La Salle had three players in double digits including juniors Caitlin DeJong (Lansing, IL/Marian Catholic) with ten and Amanda Woods (Cincinnati, OH/McNicholas) with 13, as well as freshman Carolyn Judge (West Chester, PA/Bishop Shanahan) with 14. Freshman Caitlin Conner (Willow Springs, IL/Lyons Township) tallied 26 set assists.
