Philadelphia, PA - La Salle University Freshman Crista Ricketts (Douglasville, PA/Daniel Boone) earned Big 5 Player of the Week Honors after posting four double digit performances in her first four collegiate appearances.

Ricketts has exploded in her first four games of the season. She started the season off on the right foot, gaining her fist double double of the year as she stepped onto the collegiate scene for the first time. Ricketts posted 22 points and 11 rebounds in the Explorers 67-62 win over TExas A&M in the first round of the Boston University Invitational.

In La Salle's 90-65 loss to Florida in the Championship game of the tournament Ricketts tallied 18 points and missed her second double double of the year by just one rebound, recording nine, despite sitting out about five minutes getting stitches above her right eye.

Ricketts had her third consecutive double digit performance accumulating 13 points in La Salle's 74-67 win over Penn. She also had seven boards in the game and was 5-6 from the foul line. Ricketts ended up recording her second double duoble of the year as she pulled down 11 boards and tallied 12 points in La Salle's 70-69 win over Drexel.
