South Orange, NJ - After posting a 2-0 record on day one of the Seton Hall Spikefest, the La Salle Explorers fell to the Cornell Big Red 3-0 in a match that lasted just 1 hour and 16 minutes.

Senior Robyn Wright (Salem, OH/Salem) managed just nine kills to lead the Explorers. Junior Lauren Woods (Akron, OH/Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy) added six, while sophomore Meredith Marakovits (Walnutport, PA/Allentown Central Catholic) contributed five kills.

Junior Amanda Woods (Cincinnati, OH/McNicholas) was the only La Salle player to tally double-digit digs with 10.

Cornell's Hayley Grieve dropped 15 kills on the Explorers, while teammate Elizabeth Bishop posted a double-double with 14 kills and a match-high 15 digs.

La Salle will look to rebound back to the win column later Sunday when they take on host Seton Hall.
