Cincinatti, OH - The La Salle University men's soccer team continued its
road to the Atlantic 10 Tournament by defeating Xavier 1-0 today Friday,
October 29th, 2004. Seniors Bill Cosentino (Freehold, NJ/Freehold) and Kevin
Coleman (Media, PA/Penncrest) combined for the lone goal of the game.

Cosentino took a free kick from about 35 yards and Coleman rose above the
crowd in the box and headed the ball in for his fourth goal of the season
and third game winner.

Cosentino along with senior goalie Stash Graham (Tampa, FL/Jesuit) led the
Explorers defense to their sixth shut out of the season. The shut out marked
the fifth on the season for Graham, who tallied six saves in the game.

Graham recorded his 19th career shut out in the Explorers 2-0 victory over
Massachusetts and now has 20, he is the all-time leader in career shut outs
at La Salle. His six saves today ups his season total to 97. La Salle's
defense recorded three saves to aid Graham in the shut out.

La Salle improves to 9-6-1 on the season and 5-4-0 in the conference. They
will continue its Ohio trip as they travel to Dayton this Sunday, October
31st for a 1:00 p.m. contest.
