The Explorers Fell to Rhode Island 3-0
Kingston, RI - The La Salle Explorer volleyball took the court for the final time in 2004 at Rhode Island's Keaney Gymnasium on Saturday evening. The Rams finish 9-17 overall and 4-10 in conference play.
The seniors led the way for La Salle in their final appearance in the blue and gold, with Lauren Woods (Akron, OH/Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy) landing six kills in 18 attempts with just one error for a .278 hitting percentage. She also assisted on La Salle's lone block of the game and posted one assist and two digs.
Amanda Woods (Cincinnati, OH/McNicholas) assisted on 23 kills, while dropping two kills of her own on the Rams. On defense she tallied eight digs.
