Philadelphia, PA - La Salle senior volleyball Lauren Woods (Akron, OH/Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy) added another honor to her list of accomplishments by being named to the Atlantic 10 Academic All-Conference team.

A middle blocker, Woods finished her career as La Salle's all-time leader in kills with 1,353. This season she was named to the All-Tournament Team at the Rider Invitational and Dartmouth Tournament. She started the season being named as the Most Valuable Player at the La Salle Invitational and was named as the Atlantic 10 Player of the Week following that honor.

Academically, Woods boasts a 3.77 GPA as a criminal justice major. For her academic accomplishments, she has previous been named to the Atlantic 10 Commissioner's Honor Roll.

Joining Woods on the Academic All-Conference team are Kate Duchek of Xavier, Alison Runk of Temple, Christy Utnage of Dayton and Erin Trageser and Diana Wuebker from Duquesne.
