Posted by: Sue Senner 215-913-5981Philadelphia, PA - Seniors Sara Camilli (Langhorne, PA/Neshaminy) and Colleen Bolger (Berlin, NJ/Eastern Regional) were selected by the National Field Hockey Coaches' Association (NFHCA) as North Senior All-Stars.
Bolger was selected as one of two goalkeepers for the 2004 NFHCA Division I North/South Senior All-Star Game to be held on Saturday, November 20, 2004 at Wake Forest University i n Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Camilli was selected as an alternate for the 7:30 p.m. game.
Despite missing nine games during the 2004 season, due to a broken foot, Camilli finished the season as La Salle's leading scorer with 17 points (six goals, five assists). Camilli returned to the Explorers line-up for the final game of the season against West Chester and scored one of La Salle's two goals in a 2-1 victory of the Golden Rams.
Bolger served in the goal for 1,267 of the 1,400 minutes La Salle competed this season. She allowed 41 goals in 19 games to post a 2.27 goals against average for the season. Bolger tallied 125 saves for a .753 save percentage for the year.
