Philadelphia, PA - The Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) announced the 2004 IWLCA Honor Roll for academic achievement. Duke, Bucknell and Connecticut were named to the Merit Squad, while 22 other institutions, including La Salle earned Academic Squad status.

The teams earning Academic Squad status boast a collective team GPA of 3.0 or greater.

In addition to the team honor, four individuals were named to the IWLCA Honor Roll. Seniors Tracy Guenther (Willow Grove, PA/Upper Moreland) an elementary and special education major and Laura Whitman (Philadelphia, PA/St. Hubert), a psychology major, made the Honor Roll along with juniors Janet Bollinger (Springfield, PA/Springfield), political science, and Rebecca Boudwin (Springfield, PA/Cardinal O'Hara), English major.
