Vernard Abrams to be recognized at Philadelphia Sportswriter's Banquet

The do-it-all stand-out to be honored among Philly's best after being named thee MAAC Football League Offensive Player of the Year.  Jim Thome and Rich Gannon among other honorees at annual event t be held tonight at the Hilton in Cherry Hill, NJ.  Also being honored for Outstanding Collegiate Sportswriting is recent La Salle grad (Dec. 04) Michael Echan
