AMHERST, MA- The La Salle men's soccer team dropped its second-straight Atlantic 10 game, falling 1-0 to Massachusetts. The loss leaves the Explorers with a 6-7-3 record (3-2-1 A-10). UMass improves to 5-9-1 (1-3-1).

UMass' Ernie Billittier scored the game's only goal in the seventh minute, streaking in from midfield and unloading a shot from 15 yards out. Oral Bullen and Jason Scudamore were credited with assists on the goal.

La Salle goalkeeper Andrew Bernhard (Lancaster, PA/Hempfield) made three saves in the loss. Minuteman Zack Simmons stopped six shots. La Salle outshot UMass by a 10-7 margin.

The Explorers will return home to host Duquesne on Friday, Oct. 28 at 3:00 p.m.
