Posted by: Sue SennerPHILADELPHIA, PA - The La Salle Explorer men's swimming and diving teams claimed a 143-80 victory over Delaware and a 112-107 victory over Rider in a dual meet on Saturday at Kirk Pool. The Explorers are no 4-3 for the season.
Junior diver Karo Isajan swept the diving competition in the meet, with a score of 309.80 in the 3-meter event and 261.40 in the 1-meter event to give the Explorers 18 points.
In the 200 butterfly, Sean Connors-McBride swam to a first place finish in a time of 1:56.08 and teammate Eli Field finished in second in a time of 1:58.14. Connors-McBride scored four points with a second place finish in the 200 freestyle event with a time of 1:44.46.
Field added another 13 points with a first place finish in the 500 freestyle with a time of 4:50.41 and a second place finish in the 1000 freestyle event with a time of 9:53.93.
In the 200 breaststroke, Grant Chin took second place with a time of 2:10.59 followed in third place by teammate David Ellersonin a time of 2:18.01.
The Explorers will be back in action on Tuesday, November 22nd when they take on Penn at 5:00 p.m.
