BUFFALO, NY - The La Salle women's swimming team completed competition on the third day of the Atlantic 10 swimming and diving championship.  The women are currently in ninth place with a total of 94 points.

Ashley Young contributed three points to the Explorers' total with her 14th place finish in the 100 butterfly event.  Young crossed the finish line in a time of 1:00.00 flat.

In the 200 freestyle event, Jamie Polek added two points to La Salle's point total with a 15th place finish in a time of 1:58.21.

Diver Tasha Leibensberger contributed six points after her 11th place finish in the 3-meter diving event.  Leibensberger tallied 220.30 points in the competition.

The 400 medley relay team of Mallory Kessler, Lauren Muchorski, Young and Melanie Charles claimed ninth place in a time of 54.57.

The Explorers will be back in action Saturday for the final day of comeptition.
