Philadelphia, PA - The La Salle University baseball team suffered a 15-1 loss to Monmouth today, Thursday, April 14th. The Explorers fall to 12-18 overall with the loss.

The Explorers only run of the game came when junior George Hudock (Quakertown, PA/Quakertown) hit a one run homer. Hudock along with senior Ryan Parfit (Flourtown, PA/La Salle) and sophomore Rich Prall (Doylestown, PA/Central Bucks West) all had one hit on the day. Prall and Parfit both went 1-4 and hit doubles in the loss while Hudock was 1-3 with one run and an RBI.

La Salle freshman John DiPeiro recorded the loss for La Salle as he started on the mound. Head Coach Lee Saverio saw nine diiferent hurlers on the mound in the loss.

La Salle will host Atlantic 10 opponent Dayton this weekend in a doubleheader on Saturday and a single game in Sunday.
