Cincinnati, OH - The Xavier Musketeers evened the score this morning defeating the La Salle University baseball team 5-0 in the second of a three game series. The rubber match started following the first game around 1:00 p.m.

La Salle sophomore Jarrod Ringer (Schnecksville, PA/Parkland) pitched a complete game. He struck out three batters in the six innings and gave up just seven hits and three earned runs.

The Explorers had an off day at the plate tallying only five hits. Freshmen Matt Dunaway (Little Rock, AR/Central Arkansas Christian) and Dennis Burge (Doylestown, PA/Central Bucks West) along with senior Ryan Parfit (Flourtown, PA/La Salle) all went 1-3 while sophomore Rich Prall (Doylestown, PA/Central Bucks West) had two hits on three at bats.

The loss drops La Salle to 15-22 overall and 7-7 in the conference.
