Philadelphia, PA - The La Salle University baseball team returned to conference action today as the Saint Joseph's University Hawks swept the Explorers 7-1 in the first game and 1-0 in the second game.

La Salle freshman Matt Dunaway scored the only run for the Explorers in game on. He was 2-4 on the day while sophomore Billy Kern was 2-2 with an RBI. Sophomore Dan Waters started on the mound in game one. He pitched just under five innings and struck out three batters. Junior Jarrod Ringer pitched the entire second game and struck out six batters.

The Explorers will finish their three game series with the Hawks tomorrow, Sunday, April 10th at Saint Joseph's at noon.
