Philadelphia, PA - La Salle sophomore catcher Rich Prall (Doylestown, PA/Central Bucks West) earned his first Atlantic 10 Player of the Week honor of the season after hitting an impressive .588 on the week.

Prall went 10-17 in the Explorers four games and hit a crucial two run homer in La Salle's 5-4 victory over the Musketeers which would prove to be the winning runs. He drove in six runs on the week and scored one of his own.

Prall is the first Explorer to earn A-10 honors this season. He is currently one of two players to have played and started in all 40 games. He is second on the team in both hits (49) and at bats (151) earning a .325 batting average. He is also second on the team in RBI (25) and homeruns (3).

Prall and the Explorers will be back in action this Friday, May 6th as they host the Richmond Spiders in a 5:00 PM game at Hank DeVincent field.
