Easton, Pa. - Explorers Jeremy Ortiz (Mount Laurel, NJ/Lenape) and Brian Barry (Arnold, MD/Archbishop Spalding) were named to the All-Tournament Team at the Lafayette Puma Soccer Classic.

Ortiz racked up a pair of goals in La Salle's 3-2 loss to Stony Brook on Friday, but sat out Sunday's game against Lafayette with an ankle injury. He leads the Explorers with three goals and an assist, all in just three games. Ortiz was also named to the All-Tournament Team at the Drexel Invitational.

Barry, a freshman, saw his first significant playing time at midfield and turned some heads. Upon entering the game on Sunday, he immediately swung the momentum to Explorers, who threatened Lafayette repeatedly despite being shut out. Barry provided some much needed stability at center midfield.

La Salle returns to action on Wednesday, Sept. 14 when they visit Bucknell at 7:00 p.m.
