PHILADELPHIA - Junior Kristin Hextall continues to receive recognition for her seven-point effort last weekend, when she scored two goals and had three assists, as she helped La Salle to a pair of victories which improved the Explorers to 3-1 in Atlantic 10 Conference play.

Hextall becomes the Explorers' first-ever player named to the Soccer Buzz Magazine Elite Team of the Week, announced Wednesday. The team includes 18 players that are selected from the more than 5,000 players at the Division I level.

Hextall, who was named the conference's Player of the Week on Monday, is the second A-10 standout to be named to the Elite Team, as Rhode Island's Lauren Forgione was honored Oct. 4.

She was also now been honored by Soccer Times, who picks a College Soccer Player of the Week and then recognizes Best of the Rest players and honorable mention players. Hextall was chosen as just one of two Best of the Rest players this week.
