WESTPOINT, NY - The Men's golf team traveled to West Point this weekend to compete in the golf competition this Saturday and Sunday and placed 8th in the tournament out of 14 schools.

Sophomore Steve Sieracki (Cherry Hill, NJ/Bishop Eustace) placed 5th overall individually with a score of 147, short of first place by only 6 strokes. His first round of 71 was a tie for first place. Also doing well in the tournament was senior John Lorenzo (Laguna Hills, CA/Laguna Hills) who finished with a score of 151, 10 strokes short of the leader.

The Explorers look to continue their improvement with each competition as they prepare for their main tournament, the Big Five Invitational. That competition takes place at the Philadelphia Cricket Club on October 13-14.
