CHARLOTTE, NC - Seniors Carolyn Judge and Caitlin Conner played their final collegiate match on Sunday afternoon when they La Salle Explorer volleyball team postd a 3-0 loss at the Charlotte 49ers' Halton Arena. The Explorers fell by scores of 30-23, 30-26, 30-25 and finish the season with a 9-24 overall record and a 0-13 record in the Atlantic 10. Charlotte closes out the season with a 20-11 overall record and a 7-6 record in the conference.

Sophomore Amy McKeon led the offense for the Explorers dropping eight kills on the 49ers enroute to hitting .500 for the match. McKeon attempted 16 hits and did not commit an error in the three-game series. On defense, McKeon assisted on four blocks for La Salle.

Christa Dominick and Erin Sullivan contributed seven kills each in the match, while Conner assisted on 32 of La Salle's 40 kills. Stephanie Owen also chipped in six kills.

On defense, Judge closed our her career with another 14 digs and Jackie Kushman tallied 11 for the afternoon. Kushman also served three of La Salle's five service aces.

Charlotted was led by Alma Arroyo with 17 kills and Lynae Mulder added 13 to the 49ers' totals. Rounding out the double-digit kills for Charlotte was Cori Dayton with 11. Setter Eden Ramos assisted on 49 kills and recorded one kill.

On defense, the 49ers were led by Carly Romberg with a match-high 19 digs and Ramos and Dayton each added 11.
