PHILADELPHIA, PA - La Salle field hockey senior Allison Geiger (Hummelstown, PA/Hershey) was named to the 2006 NFHCA Division I All-Region second team for the the MidAtlantic Region.

Geiger adds this post-season honor to her resume, after picking up Atlantic 10 All-Conference first team honors early. A 5-7 midfield, Gieger was a starter in all 20 games for the season for the Explorers. She scored the game winning goal in a 4-3 victory over the Rhode Island Rams as well as scoring a goal in the each of the first two games of the season against Appalachian State and Drexel. Geiger finished the 2006 season with seven points, which include the three goals and one assist. She finished the 2006 season with 44 shots, inclduing 23 shots on goal.
