Posted by: Sue SennerPHILADELPHIA, PA - The men's swimming and diving team posted a 170.5-124.5 loss to the Penn Quakers at Kirk Pool on Tuesday evening. With the loss, the men drop to 2-2 for the season.
Diver Karo Isajan continues to dominate the competition with a first place finish in the 1-meter with a score of 312.50, more than 75 points ahead of second place Aaron Levy (235.58). In the 3-meter event, Isajan tallied 302.17 points to take the gold.
Sean Connors-McBride posted a pair of victories against the quarker. In the 200-yard freestyle, Connors-McBride finished with a time of 1:43.77 to take the top honors and followed with a victory in 500-yard freestyle with a time of 4:43.95
The Explorers also got a first place finish in the 400-yard individual medley, as Grant Chin outpaced the competition with a time of 4:11.25. Chin finished the 200-yard breaststroke with a time of 2:12.28, good for second place.
The men will return to action on December 2nd and 3rd when they compete in the Nutmeg Invitational.
