PHILADELPHIA, PA - La Salle University men's basketball freshman Marshall Taylor will miss tonight's Atlantic 10 Conference game with St. Bonaventure and will be sidelined indefinitely after being hospitalized with a ruptured appendix.
Taylor was admitted to Einstein Medical Center on Tuesday night where his condition was diagnosed and he remains under care.
It is not yet known how long the injury will keep Taylor out of action but optimistic estimates suggest no less than a two-week absence from competition.
Taylor averaged 5.4 points and 2.4 rebounds while averaging 18 minutes per game in 13 appearances since becoming eligible at mid-season after transferring from Siena.
