Posted by: Stash Graham- La Salle University Athletics has dedicated Saturday, February 18th as Big Brothers Big Sisters Day at Explorer Basketball. La Salle Student-Athletes who volunteer as Big Brothers/Big Sisters will be in attendance with their "Littles" during tomorrow's men's basketball game against the University of Dayton. Marlene Olshan, the President and Chief Executive Officer of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southeastern Pennsylvania, will also serve as the game's Honorary Coach.
The Class of 2006 Hall of Athletes inductees will also be honored in a halftime ceremony during the game. Donnie Carr (men's basketball), Jill Crandley (women's basketball), Deidre Lynch (swimming), Bob Poursanidis (soccer) and Charles Trowbridge (swimming) will be officially inducted into the Hall in a ceremony earlier in the day in the University's ballroom.
The Explorers and Flyers are scheduled to tip-off at 2:05 PM at Tom Gola Arena.
