KISSIMMEE, FL - The La Salle softball team (1-1) split its first two games of the season, defeating Indiana-Purdue Fort Wayne 3-1, before dropping a 3-0 decision to Sacred Heart at the Rebel Spring Games.

Junior Laura DeZolt (Morrisville, PA/Conwell-Egan Catholic) hurled a two-hitter against IPFW and hit a triple at the plate. Freshman Danielle Signorelli (Jenkintown, PA/St. Basil) went 2-for-3 with a double.

The Explorers were no-hit by Sacred Heart.

La Salle returns to action tomorrow against Creighton at 8:50 a.m., and then again against Monmouth at 12:20 p.m.
