PHILADELPHIA, PA - The Philadelphia Big 5 and the Herb Good Club have announced the 2006 All-Big 5 Teams which includes a pair of outstanding Explorer seniors.  Steven Smith (Philadelphia, PA/Northeast) was included on the first team while his four-year teammate Jermaine Thomas (Frederick, MD/Thomas Johnson) earned second team honors.

 

 

Smith, who was named Atlantic 10 Player-of-the-Year for the second consecutive season, finished his

career with 1,940 points, placing him seventh on the all-time La Salle scoring list.

 

Thomas was an All-Atlantic 10 Honorable Mention in his final season after scoring 1,273 career points and dealt 362 assists including 109 helpers this season.

 

The pair will join fellow Big 5 honorees at the annual Herb Good Dinner to be held Monday, April 17^th at Colleen's on the Parkway.
