PHILADELPHIA, PA - After a pair of boats advanced to the second day of competition, the La Salle crew completed its performance at the Dad Vail Regatta with both of those boats unable to make it to the final of their respective events. The men's varsity heavyweight eight finished fourth in its semifinal heat, while the women's junior varsity heavyweight eight placed sixth in its semifinal heat.

The men's varsity eight crossed the finish line at 5:53.61, behind first-place finisher Army (5:41.51). The women's junior varsity eight finished sixth at 7:18.34. Bucknell won the heat with a time of 6:46.25.

The men's varsity eight placed sixth in the second final race, with a time of 6:10.84, for a 12th place overall finish.
