Terence Archer linebackers coach spring review- " i thought it was a very productive spring overall.  Defensively we set a physical tone early on and we kept the intensity up through out the spring.  Our linebacker core will definately be a strength for our defense in the 2006 season.

Casey Walsh and Nick DePinto were starters in 2005 and we will look for them to continue their high level of play and for leadership both on and off the field.  Tom Grossman is an extremely versatile football player and we feel confident he can play any of the linebacker positions as well as a rush end.  Freshmen Tom Gartlin and Jake Cornely both had very solid springs and will compete for starting spots in the fall.

I am also very excited about the group of incoming linebackers that will become a part of our program in the fall.  We have a talented group that will definately have an immediate impact."
