Dave Lorditch La Salle Wide Receivers Coach: The 2006 spring practices started off with a couple of question marks. There were questions about which players would return and even who our coach would be. Once Coach Miller was hired, he immediately dedicated himself to surrounding himself with a knowledgeable staff, whose main priority were the players. The impact was instantaneously felt by the players. Uncertainty had turned to excitement and kicked off one of the most intense spring ball La Salle has seen in years.
The wide receivers had an outstanding spring in all aspects of the game. Every one of them showed their dedication to the team with hard work and determination. Every drill was run with the same intensity showed on game days. Even when things didn't seem to be going their way, they would work harder then they had been. This same hard work and determination was what was also seen in the spring game. Facing a sizable deficit in the fourth quarter, this group put the team on their backs and helped lead the offense to victory. This group showed that there is a lot of potential for the upcoming season and opposing defensive backs need to watch out.
