Ortiz garnered A-10 Preseason All-Conference recognition.

PHILADELPHIA, PA - La Salle's Jeremy Ortiz (Mount Laurel, NJ/Lenape) earned a spot on the 2006 Atlantic 10 Preseason Men's Soccer All-Conference Team. Ortiz, who will be a junior this fall, tallied 16 points in only 10 games last season. He scored six goals, including one game-winner, and added four assists.

 

Ortiz led the Explorers in goals, points and shots (31) last season. In his two seasons taking to the pitch, he has netted eight goals and seven assists for 23 points.

 

Ortiz was also named to the 2005 A-10 All-Conference Second Team.
