Meghan Carolan

PHILADELPHIA - The La Salle University Women's Basketball team has announced the appointment of Meghan Carolan to the position of Director of Women's Basketball Operations.

 

Carolan comes to La Salle from Villanova University, where she served a dual role as equipment assistant for the athletics program and an assistant coach for the women's lacrosse team, which she began in 2004.

 

As an undergraduate at Villanova, Carolan was a four-year member of the women's lacrosse team. She was a three-time selection to the First Team All-Patriot League (2001-2003), and was named a Second Team Regional All-American in 2001.

 

A 2003 graduate of Villanova, Carolan earned her Bachelor's of Arts in history and earned minors in business and education. Most recently, she earned a Master's of Education in sport and recreation administration from Temple University, completing her degree in May 2006.

 

Carolan's primary role as Director of Women's Basketball Operations, will be to oversee administrative duties, including marketing, promotions, coordinating facility use, and game-day operations.
