Dan Pfeiffer had 5 saves in the 2-0 shutout

PHILADELPHIA, PA - Three players from La Salle were voted to the All-Tournament team this week because of their performances in last weekend's Invitational Tournament at Drexel University. 

 

The awards for La Salle went to juniors Joe Heavey(Coatesville, PA/Devon Prep) and Jeremy Ortiz(Mount Laurel, NJ/Lenape), who both scored in the 2-0 shutout, and also to senior defender Matt Kelly(Philadelphia, PA/La Salle College HS). 

 

They were honored for their playing this weekend, including Sunday's game vs. the University of Maryland-Baltimore County, in which sophomore goalie Dan Pfeiffer(Warminster, PA/William Tennant) had his first start and shutout of the season while goalkeeping for the Explorers.

 

Look for more men's soccer action this week as they host Bucknell on Wednesday night at 7pm at McCarthy Stadium.
