Philadelphia, PA - Competing in a double-header with the men against the Delaware State Hornets, the La Salle Explorer women's tennis team stung the Hornets 7-0 at Belfield Courts Saturday afternoon. The Explorers took the doubles points with two straight 8-0 victories and earned the third doubles by default, as the Hornets were short on players.
In the singles matches, the Explorers earned 6-0, 6-0 victories at the #2 through #5 slots and earned a default victory at the #6 singles position. The Explorers now own a 3-2 record for the season and will return to action on Sunday when they host the Rhode Island Rams at 11:00 a.m.
