The La Salle volleyball team claimed its first win in the month of October, winning a 3-0 decision over Wagner on Tuesday evening.The Explorers were in control throughout, winning by scores of 30-25, 30-23 and 30-25.

Jackie Kushman and Amy McKeon each had seven kills to lead the blue and gold. Carly Conlon had 16 assists while Erin Sullivan added 11.

It was a much-needed win for La Salle, who had been shut out in eight consecutive matches prior to tonight's victory. The Explorers' last win came at George Washington on September 29th.

Senior Brittany Hanley provided a spark off of the bench in game number three. After being sidelined for much of the season due to an injury, Hanley knocked down five kills in the final game to seal the win for the Explorers.

La Salle will next face G.W. in a rematch of last month's meeting. The Colonials will visit Tom Gola Arena this Friday, with the action getting underway at 7:00 p.m.
