The La Salle women's swimming and diving team won their second meet of the season, taking a 155-93 decision over C.W. Post on Friday afternoon at Kirk Pool.
The Explorers now stand at 2-1 on the year.
Freshman Jess Carbin got things started for the blue and gold, taking first place in the 100-yard backstroke, finishing in a time of 58.89. She would later take first place in the 200-yard backstroke (2:10.95).
Sophomore Shannon Duval won the gold in a trio of events. She claimed the top spot in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:06.50), 200-yard breaststroke (2:20.69) and the 200-yard IM (2:10.03).
Junior Carleen Caldwell took first place in both the 200-yard freestyle (1:56.69) and the 100-yard freestyle (53.98).
La Salle freshman Holly Biro edged out classmate Aubrey Cefalo for first place in the 50-yard freestyle. Biro clocked in at 25.27, while Cefalo finished moments later at 25.52.
Junior Carrie Houck took first place in the 200-yard butterfly (2:13.45), while sophomore Dana Reis claimed the top spot in the 500-yard freestyle (5:15.98).
The Explorer relay teams had a solid outing, taking the top two spots in the 400-yard medley, and first place in the 200-yard freestyle.
La Salle takes to the road next Saturday for a meet in the Nation's Capital against George Washington at 11:00 a.m.
