Haverford, PA - The La Sale men's and women's indoor track teams kicked off the 2006-07 season at the Jack Pyrah Invitational hosted by Haverford College.

Featured performers were Ryan Moseley (Nassua, Bahamas/Queens College High) who won the 55 meter dash with a time of 6.44 and qualified him for the IC4A championships at season's end, Billy Rhea (Rockville, MD/Good Council) who won his heat with a meet-best 35.74 in 300 meters, freshman Andrew Maxwell(Lemoyne, PA/Cedar Cliff) who tied for first in the long jump and Keith Burke (Maplewood, NJ/Seton Hall Prep) who finished first in the 55 hurdles at 7.83 55.

The women were led by freshman Ruth Brown (Hershey, PA/Milton Hershey) who took fourth in the 55m dash with a 7.50, Kim McIntosh's (Neptune, NJ/Neptune) third place finish in the 55m hurdles (8.63) and a second-place finish in the 500m by Courtney McKnight (Norristown, PA/Archbishop Carroll) at 1:18.87.
