The Bronx, NY - The La Salle University men and women's indoor track teams resumed competition Friday night by competing in the Fordham Invitational at The Armory in New York City.

Of the 14-team field the Explorer men finished in fourth place with Steve Rendall (Deptford, NJ/Gloucester Catholic) winning the 60M hurdles in a time of 8.24.

The Explorer women took fifth place out of 12 teams with Daniele Schopf (Glenolden, PA/Cardinal O'Hara) finishing first in the mile at 5:03.78 and Jennifer Surabian (Saugus, MA/Bishop Fenwick) taking the 1000-meter race with a time of 3:03.85.

The Explorers will return to action back in New York City on January 12th to race in The Gotham Cup hosted by New York University.
