Philadelphia, PA -- The 2006 NCAA Division I All-Academic teams were announced by the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association on Thursday.
Among the honorees were Danielle Schopf, Carolyn Lipovsky and Rachel Papin.
To earn All-Academic individual honors, runners were required to have at least a cumulative GPA of 3.25 and also place in the top 15 or top 10 percent of an NCAA regional meet. Seventy-six individuals earned All-Academic honors for the 2006 cross country season.
The team also qualified for recognition as a group.
