On Tuesday, February 28, 2007, the La Salle Athletic Department held its monthly NCAA Compliance Coaches Rules Education Meeting. The special guest speaker for this months education meeting was La Salle Philosophy Professor Dr. Fred Van Fleteren. Dr. Van Fleteren discussed the Principles of the Double Effect, taken from Saint Thomas Aquinas' theory on self-defense.
